I started my job this week. And I have mixed emotions about it. I think it could be good, but as it stands right now- it sucks. I don't really care for the girl I work with. I don't have any fun... I am usually bored out of my mind. I find myself to be useless. I don't know the schedule or the rules so I just stand around. I am a substitute... so I work when someone else calls in. I am going to continue to work there and see if things change, but I will also continue to look for a different job.

Anyway- this is what I wake up to every morning. This is Sookie... she sits and sleeps between our pillows in the morning. Isn't she cute!

So... this is the room I work in. Go Preschool!


This is another of my breakfast for dinner creations.

There was a power surge in our apartment building on Monday while we were grilling. The power flicked on and off. Then we looked out and saw this HUGE fire. So what did we do? We stopped grilling... ran to the car and tried to get a good look. It was too crowded, but we saw the fire closer and saw tons of cops and firemen attacking the fire. It was cool!

We went back to the chalk art festival on Sunday and looked at the finished products!

Doesn't this one look like a drag queen? ha ha. To me it looks like the 'ugly step sister' in Shrek!

My mom comes into town tomorrow! I had a weekend planned of enjoying Colorado weather, but I cold rainy front is moving in... so I have to change some plans around! O-well... we will have fun no matter what. Now I have to clean up the house!
